ORPLAS S.L. It has a technical office with the CAD-CAM-CAE systems with the most advanced current technology. We collaborate from the engineering part with the client so that the project / product has an excellent result in production, finishing and service.
The engineering department is constantly introduced in research projects with the technological institute AIDIMME, innovating at all times, systems and applications for different sectors. We also have equipment for the manufacture of prototypes and scanning parts.
Section in charge of manufacturing the mold: in it the mold is constructed from the parameters previously studied by the engineers of the technical office, both departments are united in a symbiosis and synchronism to carry out the project. We have machinery with the most advanced technology, guaranteeing us at all times for a perfect construction of it, and without neglecting the team of highly qualified people who make possible the combination of ideas, technology and industrial construction.
The equipment that makes up the section of moldings, is responsible for ensuring good conservation and maintenance of the mold. So that it is at all times in a perfect state of use, this way they ensure a constant and unchanging quality over time.
Proof of this is that all the molds produced by ORPLAS TECHNOLOGY S.L. for plastic injection, zamak injection and cold stamping dies for stainless steel, enjoy an unlimited guarantee within our facilities.
Since the birth of ORPLAS S.L., the company has always opted for technology and being sensible for the environment. For this reason, the injection machines that we are incorporating since 2016 have a hybrid system that allows the productive process of the injection to have a substantial energy saving, and with it some positive ends for our environment.
ORPLAS S.L. receives the support of the IVACE through the Industrial Modernization Plan for the acquisition of the first machine that we have introduced with this system.
At present we have a very diverse range in machines from small machines of 75 tons to machines of 500 tons, for the manufacture of pieces of different sizes. With automatic systems for the extraction of pieces, washing, drying and deionization of the plastic to eliminate the static electricity of the produced parts.
Finish plastic parts
The facilities have different areas for finishing the product. We have facilities for the surface finish of the piece so that it obtains aesthetic properties or physical properties necessary for its operation.
The sections for the finishing of pieces are decorative electrolytic coatings, pressurized liquid paint lines, and high vacuum metallization for reflective parts or household products in contact with food. We also have the possibility of screenprinting pieces.
Assembly and assembly
We have machinery for assembling the set of parts. The section has areas of assembly for product in manual form, hydraulic presses of precision for riveting and subjection of metallic components, and machines of ultrasound for welding of plastic pieces to each other.
Injection of bimaterial and bicomponent
Bi-material and bicomponent injection is conceived to be able to manufacture the same piece with two different materials. The Bimaterial injection is the one in which we inject in the same mold and in the same sequence the two materials, in a part of the piece can be a hard material such as an ABS and in zones a soft SBS that can be the own grip of a handle. For this process it is necessary to special machines with double spindle and turntable to perform the process in the same sequence, just as the necessary mold has a complex system of hot chambers for its purpose.
The Bicomponent injection is that in which we inject in the same mold or different molds, in different sequences the two or more materials. In this process we can manufacture pieces with plastic materials where the personalization of the color is included, we add metallic inserts or scents in the case of products conceived as air fresheners.
